The Albuz AVI 110 degree flat fan spray nozzle used on boom and knapsack sprayers is a specialized venturi or air induction type spray nozzle. Venturi or air induction nozzles are designed to reduce spray drift by creating large droplets with a low volume per droplet by incorporating air bubbles inside each droplet. Reducing spray drift can be of importance when applying herbicides close to sensitive crops and reducing environmental and bystander exposure to agrochemicals. Take note lower coverage area may result as consequence of large droplet sizes. The AVI nozzle series uses the ISO colour code for nozzle delivery rates. This nozzle is produced with precision by Albuz based in France and boasts a ceramic nozzle orifice with impressive wear resistance.
NB! Make sure to consult the flow rate per minute chart to select the correct nozzle colour. For optimal nozzle performance, select flow rates between 1.5 to 3.0 bar pressure range.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
> Designed to be used over a wide range of pressures (from 3 to 5 bar).
> Pink ALBUZ® ceramic double orifices (excellent precision and high wear resistance).
> Flat fan pattern angle 110°.
> Wide angle flat : spray overlap ensuring uniform distribution on the ground.
> Designed for all types nozzle-holders.
SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS
> Air-injected spray nozzle (venturi system) : sprays large drops charged with air bubbles ; the AVI 110° model is certified at 75 anti-drift.
> Almost totally eliminate drift, while increasing the number of impacts (excellent coverage of the treated zone).
> Anti-clogging design and double air-intake orifice.
> Compact design (28 mm lenght) adapted to all booms and nozzle holders.
> Minimum height boom recommended: 50/60 cm.
> Recommended pressure: 3 bar.
