The off center flat fan nozzle is a specialize nozzle with an off center flat fan pattern of 80 degrees. These nozzles are often placed on the ends of herbicide spray booms used in fruit orchards and vineyards to reach difficult to reach areas, for example under fruit trees or vines. These nozzles are also sometimes used on herbicide spray rigs next to the tractor wheels where the work row is planted with a sensitive cover crop. These nozzles produce fine droplets at their recommended pressure ranges, thus it is recommended to select a nozzle capacity above that needed and use at low pressure to minimize the production of small droplets. This nozzle is produced with precision by Albuz based in France and boasts a ceramic nozzle orifice with impressive wear resistance.
NB! Make sure to consult the flow rate per minute chart to select the correct nozzle colour. For optimal nozzle performance, select flow rates between 2.0 to 3.0 bar pressure range.
> Recommended to use 70 cm nozzle spacing where off center nozzle will overlap other 110 degree nozzles (image to illustrate).
> Minimum height boom recommended: 50/60 cm.
> Recommended pressure: 2 bar.
